Appleton™ and O-Z/Gedney™ offer light-commercial grade ceiling fan boxes with adjustable and direct mounting options for rehab, retrofit and new construction. Adjustable hanger bar fits 16’ to 24’ spans and allows for perfect placement of fan or fixture despite the spacing of the supporting joists. Additionally, our retrofit screw hanger bars allow for the boxes to be installed with minimal cutting required to an existing ceiling. Direct mounting applications include brackets that enable side attachment to a beam or joist. The boxes come fully assembled, self-contained and ready to install with plastic non-metallic sheathed cable connector, ground screw, hardware and instruction sheet.
