Features

  • For Commercial and Residential Applications
  • The MSC1 controller is a commercial grade unit suitable for controlling snow and ice melting in gutters and downspouts. The MSC1 control panel is capable of monitoring snow/ice accumulation in three separate snow melting application zones and issuing separate control signals for each zone. The enclosure is NEMA 4, 4X for commercial/industrial indoor applications. It features a LCD display, programming and associated indicator lights for operation of each zone
  • MSP1 sensor must be used in conjunction with the MSC1 Controller. It is encased within a rugged enclosure and is intended to be embedded within the surface being heated. The MSP1 is supplied with a protective field cover to simplify asphalt or concrete installations. It comes with 30 ft (9 m) of wire for connection back to the MSC1 control unit. The dual sensing technique allows the MSC1 to control the heating equipment in the optimum manner possible
  • The SA1 automatic snow/ice melting controller uses microcontroller technology to energize the heating cable only when the right conditions of temperature and snowfall occur. A LED indicator light detects if power relay is activated and if now sensor needs to be cleaned
  • The TS1 temperature sensor must be used in conjunction with the MSC1 Controller. It measures the outside temperatures. It is included in each MSC1 controller. The TS1 is supplied with 10 ft (3 m) of connection wire which can be extended up to 500 ft (152 m) with an appropriately rated 18-20 AWG 3 wire unshielded standard cable
  • The MSA1 aerial moisture sensor must be used in conjunction with the MSC1 Controller. It detects falling or blowing snow coming in contact with the sensor grid, then sends a signal to the MSC?1 to energize heating equipment. The MSA1 is supplied with connection wire that can be extended up to 152 m (500 ft) with an appropriately rated 18-20 AWG 3 wire unshielded stranded cable
  • SMC54WP thermostat has a reliable SPDT switch and is available exclusively for Canada. It is a one control thermostat for heating and cooling with a large, visible dial to make set point temperatures clear. Manufactured with a rugged, weather-resistant enclosure, it performs despite water spray, high humidity, airborne contaminates and moderately corrosive conditions.
  • The SMC51/SMC52 thermostat has a reliable SPDT switch and is available exclusively for Canada. The control setpoint is dial-knob adjustable. It is available with fixed or adjustable temperature differentials, and is ambient temperature compensated. The mounting bracket is replaceable.
  • All have a one year limited warranty
